Do you love visual creativity, 3D graphics and augmented reality? We do! Here at Adobe’s augmented reality team, we are looking for a software development intern to help us build the creative tools that will empower artists to produce augmented reality experiences without years of training in complex technologies.
To succeed in this role, you need experience programming with
C++ and JavaScript 3D concepts like scene graphs — for example, game development. Basic networking like https. One or more relevant areas of expertise that excites you, such as animation technology, motion capture, spatial audio, video streaming, texturing and materials, rendering, UI development, or visual programming.
What You’ll Do
As an intern, you’ll help us with one of the following problem areas, depending on your skills and passion:
Ease of use
We want to simplify the creation of augmented reality content. Whether by providing more intuitive on-screen manipulation widgets, or implementing interactive tutorials and help systems, if you love building user interfaces, we’d love to have your help.
Expressivity
We want creative people to be able to express themselves through building augmented reality experiences. Whether by building visual scripting systems that balance power and intuitiveness, or motion capture systems for puppeteering characters, video playback, or particle systems, if you love 3D and animation technologies, we’d love to have your help.
Collaboration and Cloud
We want to enable our customers to collaborate and share their work, to see their history of changes, and to not have to wait for slow data synchronizations. If you love multi-media streaming, multi-user editing, and network systems, we’d love to have your help!
