Junior Data Quality Analyst 
(Well established Non-profit in Los Angeles)
Rate: $20-25/hour max – Contract to hire


  • Responsible for accurate collection, review, analysis, and reporting of data for each assigned business unit
  • The data specialist will coordinate with Care Coordinators and Director to support the establishment of data policies, procedures and best practices
  • Provide training to staff regarding program data, outcomes, and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure program compliance
  • Maintain oversight of client data records for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure that all documents are loaded correctly into the system and check for accuracy of input
  • Compile and prepare data for requested reports related to each assigned program
  • Conduct internal checks on data, charts and electronic databases
  • Work with the HMIS system make sure all data is entered correctly
  • Train staff on HMIS and data systems to support program team members

Desired Skills

  • Several years of hands-on experience working with patient data or data related community projects
  • Familiarity with databases or HMIS systems is ideal
  • Some exposure to programing in SQL, Python or R would be ideal
  • Experience working with MS Windows and Office Software
  • Experience with Google Suite of products is helpful
  • Familiar with data entry and data quality assurance
  • Training can be provided to a junior level candidate that has a passion for data and helping others
