This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful research team for summer 2021! As an intern you will have the opportunity to learn about the role your team of interest plays in helping define and drive solutions for clients and patients.

This entry level, 10-12week position provides support for multiple projects (including ‘live’ projects) under supervision, with the opportunity to participate in targeted self-improvement projects. Value and Access Consulting

The complex and rapidly changing payer environment is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate. Peri- and Post Approval Studies (PPAS)

The Peri- and Post Approval Studies team supports biopharmaceutical companies throughout the product lifecycle, from early pre-launch planning to launch and post-marketing management. Our focus is on helping our clients in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology/ medical device industries build economic and epidemiological evidence to demonstrate and support the value of their products.

Modeling and Simulation

Our multidisciplinary Modeling and Simulation experts design and implement health economic models that describe complex medical processes to understand and evaluate the implications of clinical trials; demonstrate the value of interventions beyond efficacy, and assess benefits, risks, and the economic consequences associated with healthcare interventions. If you have a passion for health economic modeling to conduct cost-effectiveness analyses of healthcare interventions and have experience conceptualizing and implementing simulation models (e.g., discrete event simulation) and other decision-analytic models (e.g., decision trees, Markov, individual state-transition, survival partition), a position in Modeling and Simulation at Evidera is waiting for you!

Market Access Communications

Evidera’s Market Access Communications team interprets and communicates the clinical and economic evidence that our pharmaceutical/life sciences clients require to successfully market their products. Our services include dossiers and slide decks that provide healthcare decision-makers with the evidence they need to evaluate new medical treatments, targeted literature-based white papers on diseases and treatments, and reports from payer advisory boards.

Evidence Synthesis

In This Role, You Will Gain Exposure On How To

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys reading publications and conducting literature reviews. The Evidence Synthesis team utilizes published literature to answer research questions in order to assess complex information for client studies.

• Understand new indications in context of specific product strategy
• Inform planning for primary research, such as choice of patient-reported outcome instruments and comparators
• Estimate clinical comparisons of products versus competitors
• Capitalize on existing research while assessing evidence gaps
• Provide information for value development planning
• Determine which databases have proved useful in target indications
• Derive model inputs
• Create burden-of-illness assessments for submission to payers
• Publish burden assessments for dissemination
• Populate dossiers
• Populate regulatory documents such as Risk Management Plans

Patient-Centered Research

The Patient-Centered Research group focuses on the development of clinical outcomes assessments (COAs) and patient-reported outcomes (PROs). Our researchers represent a combination of scientific disciplines, including psychometrics, economics, decision analysis, epidemiology, biostatistics, psychology and public health. We develop and evaluate clinical outcome assessments to support labeling and promotional claims. This is a great opportunity to learn more about data collection, including conducting one-on-one cognitive interviews and co-moderating focus groups, literature reviews, site recruitment, and IRB submissions.

Patient Preference

This exciting and challenging cross-functional position provides statistical and econometric analysis as well as data management support across multiple projects within the Patient Preference group of the Patient-Centered Research team. The role requires a unique blend of technical excellence in addition to the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines. The Data Analyst/Senior Data Analyst is integral to the success of the organization and works closely with a variety of stakeholders; technical and research, to drive the delivery and quality of required programming and results tables. The position offers opportunities for professional skills development and growth.

Medical Writing

Our Medical Writing and Healthcare Communications team has over 17 years of experience delivering consistently high-quality materials for both internal and external audiences. This position supports the mission of Library Services which is to obtain, maintain, and search for information that will assist Evidera staff in the delivery of quality products to their clients. Our writers prepare documents that are clear, concise, scientifically accurate, and fully compliant with regulations, industry best practices, and your corporate guidance.

Finance

The Finance department works closely with Evidera’s business units and support services to help them understand the financial state of the business. They depend on Finance for recording operating activities, tracking changes in business conditions and helping to predict operating indicators.
