What You’ll Do
- Collaborate on the design of our newest Tinder features and implement those features in a robust and maintainable fashion
- Work on systems that handle billions of daily requests
- Build robust, lasting, and extensible products that serve tens of millions of users
- Learn how to build large scale distributed systems through hands-on experiences
What we’re looking for:
- Aspiring backend developer who’s excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology
- Proficiency in coding with at least one language (Java, Scala, Python, Nodejs, or similar)
- Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field with a graduation date no earlier than December 2021
Bonus points if:
- You have prior internship experience working on backend systems
- You have experience building applications using any of the following technologies: Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, ElasticSearch, Redis
- You have experience building applications that use AWS technologies such as: DynamoDB, S3, RDS, ElastiCache
