UI Designer Intern (Bilingual in Chinese Preferred)

Summary:
Universal Processing New York office is seeking a UI Design Intern. Within 14 years, we have emerged as one of the fastest growing payments companies in the U.S. secrets – keep innovating and diversifying our portfolio. This time, we have an ambitious plan to invest in an in-house model that bundles our core credit card processing service with Point-Of-Service (POS) hardware used in different business sectors. We are looking for a bright and creative individual to assist in developing this exciting product that will better fit our client’s business needs and boost their bottom line.
You are the type of designer-to-be who turns complex systems into easy-to-understand flows. You are expected to work closely with VP of Technologies to visualize the user interface and build great solutions. Qualifications:
Current students pursuing Bachelor degree or Master’s degree
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and process flows are strongly encouraged to apply
Knowledge in user interface development tools, such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS
Must be able to conceptualize the user experience across multiple device sizes and platforms
Proactive, can-do attitude, aiming for excellence
Excellent communication skills, with a desire to learn in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
Must have portfolio available
Experience with POS system a plus
Bilingual in Chinese Preferred
