In this role, you will drive strategic projects as a part of the SMB/Mid-Market product marketing team. As the PMM team, we build and execute on business and marketing strategy to drive growth, and you’ll be a key member! Projects could include international strategy, customer sub-segmentation, sales strategy, working with product management to define product strategy, launch marketing or more.

Are a full stack marketing athlete with capabilities and experience across customer insights development, analysis, strategy creation, cross-functional team leadership and coordination, and program execution

Have a deep understanding of your customers and market landscape and can influence and channel that into action throughout an organization

Are an agent of change who will strive to improve against status quo

Can flexibly jump from one priority to another as business conditions and needs change

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer, market and competitive analysis: Analyze behavioral metrics, market/competitive data, and customer research to identify growth and improvement opportunities across business, product, and marketing. Conduct primary customer research as needed.

Strategic growth and strategy development: Identify strategic growth unlocks and drive progress against growth initiatives. Develop business cases, evaluate market opportunities, analyze financials and customer data, identify priorities, and push and execute for progress through Adobe teams.

Evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities

Partner and influence: Collaborate with product, marketing and sales to execute strategies and programs. Align cross-functionally across product marketing teams to drive holistic strategy.

Communicate and influence with impact: Present to cross-functional teams and senior leadership to sell ideas and influence to action

Program Execution: Drive execution of specific marketing and business initiatives, as needed to meet business demands

 

Qualifications/Experience

BA/BS with strong performance in quantitative coursework and analytical problem-solving; MBA candidate at top university

Confirmed experience in B2B product marketing or strategic consulting; 2+ years experience preferred; experience with product management a plus

Analytical and strategic – demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, and keen ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on business case analysis.

Strong interpersonal and cross-functional leadership skills – able to collaborate and influence senior management and cross-functional teams across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Analytics teams.

Ability to balance strategic, conceptual and analytical thinking with deep customer insight and understanding of underlying motivations.

Success in influencing cross-functional teams in a large, matrixed organization as well as being hands-on in a startup or entrepreneurial environment

Self-motivated, biased towards action, resourceful – willing to roll up one’s sleeves to get it done and able to think differently to unlock paths to progress

Grit and comfort working with ambiguity – You have proven perseverance toward a lofty goal through serious obstacles and adversity
