Forum Overview

The Wells Fargo Women in Technology Intern Virtual Forum is an exclusive two-day program designed to encourage and inspire women who have an interest in pursuing a career in Technology. A select group of high-performing students from diverse backgrounds will be invited to participate.

During the virtual forum, you will have the opportunity to learn from successful women in technology at Wells Fargo who will share their expertise and knowledge to help you become a future leader. You will develop an understanding of Wells Fargo’s unique values and culture, which you will experience first-hand in your interactions with highly talented team members. You will have an accelerated opportunity to interview with hiring managers for multiple summer internship positions across the Wells Fargo Technology platform.

Invitation and attendance at the conference does not guarantee a summer internship placement. Interviews for the various 2021 Summer Internship Program openings will take place the 2nd day.

Summer Intern Program Overview

The Internship Program provides participants with a ten-week orientation to Wells Fargo and the Wells Fargo Technology division. The internship will run from June-early August 2021. The experience includes relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, and exposure to key leaders. It is designed to provide undergraduate students with a blend of business, technical, and professional developmental training. The program targets exceptional rising seniors with consideration for exceptional rising juniors.

In addition to participating in the Wells Fargo Corporate Intern Program virtual learning series, our interns will have the opportunity to understand the day-to-day responsibilities of a team member and gain comprehensive professional and industry experience. This program provides opportunities to be a part of a team that develops business solutions through innovation. The program exposes interns to a variety of business groups, providing a firm understanding of the company’s operations, business strategies, and corporate culture.

Intern Opportunities

The 2021 Internship Program offers a variety of opportunities within our Business CIO teams, Technology Infrastructure, and Information Security. These businesses are at the heart of what enables Wells Fargo to satisfy everyone from global customers to team members by providing best-in-class security and tools to protect Wells Fargo data and strategic technology-based products, services, and governance. You will be assigned to one of these businesses for the duration of the ten-week program. The internship program is a direct pipeline to our full-time Associate program.

Our Internships will be in the following cities. You must be able to work out of one of the following cities to be an intern during of summer 2021.

Application Instructions

  • Open to all students who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM related major and graduating between December 2021-May 2023

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ months of professional experience through internships, part-time, or full-time work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including those related to conflict resolution
  • Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to learn from and interact with a diverse set of team members in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Proactive approach to work with a desire to learn breadth and depth of businesses and technologies
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Technology STEM related majors with a graduation date December 2021-May 2023
