Creative Content Intern

Here at Collab we’re looking for a Creative Content Intern to support the Brands and Creative Teams with existing projects on all platforms, with a special focus on TikTok. You’ll be hands-on in creating, planning, and editing content for various brands for multiple clients in a variety of verticals. This role includes day to day posting as well as campaign support, analytics reporting, content creation, and creator activations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Concepting and creating social media content for various brands (with an emphasis on TikTok content)
  • Produce visually compelling, brand-focused content while growing a brand’s audience and voice
  • Serve as “Editor-in-TikTok Chief” for various client accounts, identifying storytelling opportunities, content ideas and the best captions
  • Work cross-functionally with brands, sales, creative, and production teams
  • Use various programs, apps, and in-app tools to create unique content that aligns with current trends and patterns
  • Create posting schedules, post content regularly, track and report analytics, edit videos, curate content, and support engagement/conversations in-app.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple social media accounts, including project timelines, deliverables, editorial calendars, creator activations, and monthly project reports
  • Collaborate and support on all social needs across brand campaigns, special projects, and social-first activations
  • Meet rapid turnaround times, while maintaining quality content
  • Sourcing/ researching materials for Collab’s podcast
  • Actively engage with our creators and followers on Instagram and TikTok

Skills

  • Passionate about creating fun and engaging content
  • A self-proclaimed “TikTok Expert”
  • Can direct and create video and relevant content across all social channels
  • Exceptionally skilled in design, video editing, social media copywriting
  • Thorough understanding and passion for the digital and social creative world, best practices, trends & visual storytelling, across all traditional and emerging social platforms
  • Ability to be scrappy and make the best content regardless
  • You understand the difference between a creative idea and the strategy of executing an idea
  • Flexible in working both autonomously and more closely as a team
  • Knowledge of social media marketing trends, best practices, and platform innovations (specifically on emerging platforms such as TikTok)
  • Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills (with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously)
  • Ability to work and take initiative in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment a must
  • Passion for social media, branding, and content!

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of creative and/or content production experience in relevant positions
  • Expert at TikTok in personal or a professional manner
  • Understanding all video editing tools available to craft content
  • Be able to provide work examples from social media accounts
  • Understands being brand safe and creating content for brands
  • Passionate about creating content and pleasing clients
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
