POSITION SUMMARY: *MUST PHYSICALLY BE IN or NEAR CINCINNATI, OH AREA****

Responsible for assisting users on various hardware and software related issues, as well as provide testing and feedback for our in house software.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 365 experience is required for this position.
  • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to the everyday functionality for a multi office company
  • Analyzes programs or systems to determine the cause of problems
  • Ability to follow specific instructions and meet deadlines
  • Help maintain asset inventory
  • Responsible for creation of new users and image new computer systems
  • Assist in Installing and configuring workstations based on company needs and requirements, knowledge to do so remotely
  • Troubleshooting phone and computer systems active in all offices
  • Document, track, and monitor all problems to ensure a timely resolution
  • Works closely with end users to make them aware of updates and changes on their software
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues following standard operating procedures Collaborate effectively with other team members to resolve and document unfamiliar issues
  • Hardware experience with workstations and their peripherals, as well as printers and phones
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues, situations, or problems to the appropriate higher level technician

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows : 7, 8.1, and 10
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016/365
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop / Terminal Server/ Exchange environment
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2016
  • General knowledge of Active Directory
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must have a strong work ethic, the desire to learn and not afraid to ask questions
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to learn quickly, analyze situations and make decisions which support the ongoing success of MegaCorp.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree or higher in an IT related field, or equivalent experience
