Solar’s Condition Based Engineering (CBE) department is looking for Data Scientist to help develop digital twins to support equipment health management and asset optimization. Digital twins combine reduced order physics models and machine data to predict the remaining useful life (RUL) of critical gas turbine components subjected to real world operation. This allows Solar Digital (supported by CBE), to support customers directly through aftermarket services, equipment life extension and risk management. CBE is looking for a dynamic individual to help define and grow this exciting new “Industrial Internet of things”, (IIoT) discipline. Experience of creating and validating predictive models would be highly beneficial. Experience of data analytics, statistics, and simulation would be ideal.
Support the development of predictive & statistical models which can be imbedded into digital twins to help manage uncertainty and develop machine intelligence for digital twins. Work with a global cross functional team of Engineers, Mathematicians & life prediction specialists.
