Job Description

NuVasive is looking for an Intern, Project Manager to assist in administering, organizing, and supporting the organization’s key Marketing Transformation project. The responsibilities for this role include working closely with the Leader of Organization Transformation, marketing, commercial sales and other leaders to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources and time frames for projects. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management, good communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with business partners and internal teams to deliver results on deadline.

    • Participate in cross-functional process improvement activities
    • Build project plans and execute on project delivery following project management methodologies
    • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
    • Track milestones and schedule meetings
    • Follow up on deliverables and handling queries
    • Discuss and document business processes
    • Build PowerPoint presentations for both department and executive meetings
    • Participate in business reviews and building the project roadmap

Basic Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • In pursuit of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business, Human Resources or related field
    • Must be currently enrolled in school with a successful completion of 2 years of undergraduate studies (minimum of 60 credit hours towards Bachelor’s degree)
    • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Ability to provide college transcripts
    • Candidates are responsible for their own housing and transportation during the internship
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States
    • Excellent time management
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Have a sense of urgency and take initiative to contribute to the success of the project
    • High attention to detail and proven analytic skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous internship experience
    • Experience working with internal marketing departments
    • Experience in data analysis
    • Experience preparing flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
    • Knowledge of project management & requirements gathering
