Social Media Intern
The Social Media Intern position works alongside management to increase Communiqué USA’s brand awareness through the usage of social media platforms. The Social Media Intern must have exceptional knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn). The Social Media Intern is responsible for planning and posting social media posts. The Social Media Intern will be given specific tasks related to the management of social media platforms and give creative insight into topics and posting to be included in our social media calendar. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

Social Media Intern Job Responsibilities

    • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts
    • Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
    • Work alongside the team to create a plan for monthly social media strategies
    • Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company’s social pages
    • Brainstorms campaign ideas
    • Monitor various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
    • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns to create performance reports
    • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service
    • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes
    • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems

Social Media Intern Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
  • 1-2 years of social media management experience
  • Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
  • Familiar with multi-social posting through programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving
  • Excellent inter personal skills, demonstrable ability to work with different personalities and work styles
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong organizational skills
