干货|Behavioral/Technical,面试难点逐一破

面试当中的题目林林总总,总是让人感觉有些迷茫。不过精心的进行分析和整理之后,就可以总结出一些一些题型的特质和答法。整体上讲,每场面试逃不过Behavioral和Technical两个大方面的问题。Technical相对麻烦,因为每个专业、岗位所需要的内容各有不同,这方面的侧重点也自然各有不同。

今天我们先从无论什么工作都逃不不过的Behavioral Questions讲起,从什么是、怎么答,再到如何形成应对模式,都一次性告诉你~

Behavior Interview是什么?

Interview是HR或者招聘经理在面试过程中测评求职者的一种主要工具。行为面试法是通过要求面试对象描述其过去某个工作或者生活经历的具体情况,来了解面试对象各方面素质特征的方法。行为面试法的基本假设是: 一个人过去的行为可以预测这个人将来的行为。在多数情况下,HR会根据你回答的每一个行为面试问题而依次打分,然后在面试结束时全面的评估你的综合素质,最后再确定你的总成绩

如何应对Behavior Interview

其实应对Behavior Interview并不难,为了保证回答的完整性和逻辑性,大部分BehaviorQuestions都可以通过使用S.T.A.R技巧来回答:

S(situation)

首先你需要描述当时的情况。比如你打算举例你做过的某个project,可以首先介绍该project的名字,内容,目标,小组有多少人等。

T(task)

其次明确当时的任务。比如当时的任务是解决一个网页开发中遇到的问题。

A(action)

接着你需要解释自己的行为。比如积极寻求教授的帮助,很快的学习了某种技能等。

R(result)

最后凸显这些行为所带来的好处。你需要描述你采取的行为最终导致了怎样的结果,比如得到了客户的肯定,降低了5%的开销等。

Introduce Yourself

Q:Tell me a little bit of yourself.

A自我介绍一般可以分三个部分:

  1. 教育/工作经历
  2. 与面试职位相关的技能
  3. 自我的职业目标与公司目标的关系

You might start with something like, “I recently graduated from ____ with a degree in ____” Ifyou have any honors, slip those into this opening line as well. If you are a seasonedprofessional, you might try “I have been working as a ____ for ___ years.” You could alsoprovide a little personal information in your introduction, such as “I am an avid ____ musicianand music lover.”

After your opening, talk about your skills. Say something like, “I excel at ____ and ____.” Andthen, offer an example of a project you worked on that demonstrates your skills in this area.

Finally, mention your career goals and offer a transition into the conversation about how youmight work on those goals within the company. Say “My goal is to ____ and I am excited todiscuss how your company might offer me opportunities to ____.”

Strength

Q:What are your greatest strenghtes?

A回答strength的问题一定要结合具体公司和职位回答,根据职位的不同给出相应的str-ength。通常来讲,这个可以从以下三个方面来回答:

  1. 与面试职位直接相关的知识和技能;
  2. 不同工作都可适用的通用技能
  3. 面试者独有的性格和特质。

但要注意的是,说完每个strength后都需要举出对应的例子证明自己确实有这个strength:

Knowledge-based skills: Acquired from education and experience (e.g., computer skills,languages, degrees, training and technical ability).

Transferable skills: Your portable skills that you take from job to job (e.g., communication andpeople skills, analytical problem solving and planning skills)

Personal traits: Your unique qualities (e.g., dependable, flexible, friendly, hard working,expressive, formal, punctual and being a team player).

Weakness

Q:What is your biggest weakness?

A如果不提前准备,这个问题会是最难以回答的问题。虽然每个人都有缺点,但在面试中并不需要把自己所有的缺点都告诉面试官。

回答这个问题最好的策略就是:尽可能的降低缺点可能带来的不好影响。立即强调你之后会采取怎样的对策来克服这一问题,最后举出例子证明这一点。

“I realize I may not have as much exper-ience as other candidates interviewing. (weakness)

However, whatever I may not have in experience, I can learn quickly. Addi-tionally, if I don’tknow something, I im-merse myself in it reading books or arti-cles and conducting research. I amnot afraid to ask questions and I work twice as hard if I need to. (solution)

Q: Why do you want to join our company?

A面试官想通过这个问题寻找到最适合在这个公司并最乐意在这个公司工作的人。一个好的回答必须要变现出你对这个公司和行业的了解,必须表现出你对这个公司有着高度的热情。所以,你必须在面试前做相应研究以了解这个公司。一般来说,可以通过回答关于公司文化、水平、业界地位和特定项目的相关内容来应对。

“Well, the JP Morgan reputation is certainly a factor. I would be proud to work for a companywith such a long history of leadership in the industry. (Company general reputation)

Qualification

Q:Why do you think I should hire you?/ What makes you a good fit for this position?

A回答这个问题首先要了解这个公司和这个职位最想招什么样的人,需要什么样的技能。然后说出自己具备这样的技能,能很好的为公司所用。接着需要说出自己不仅仅满足了该职位的最低要求,而且拥有更高的水平和技能,能让自己在众多竞争者中脱颖而出,最后表达对该职位的强烈兴趣

Future Expectation

Q:Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A面试官问这个问题主要有两方面的考虑:

  1. 想知道面试者是否有意愿较长期留在这个公司;
  2. 想知道面试者的未来发展目标是否与该职位的发展道路想契合。

“My goal right now is to find a position at a company where I can grow and take on newchallenges over time. (Stay)
