选错专业，怎么自学成为数据大神？（终）
一个礼拜没和大家见面了，为了同学们的阅读顺畅我的前两期采访可以点击回顾一下：
最后一期想和大家唠唠我工作之后真正进入职场之后再回过头看我这一路的求职。
很多时候，当时觉得某一些困难是一座不可逾越的大山，抬头望去遥遥见不到山顶。但只有当你翻越过去了再回头看，才会发现原来那也不过是个小土包。
所谓“不可逾越的大山”永远都是相对而言的，当你不够高不够强大的时候当然看什么都难。而当你足够有底气的时候，这些“难”和“大山”也就都不是事了。
归根结底就是要让自己够强。
当今世界，不再是古早的什么“传男不传女”或者“独家秘笈”之类的腐朽思想和做派，而是随着网络高速发展带来的全球性的信息大爆炸。

但平台不能代替你去学，不能代替你去面试，不能代替你去工作。你要找到平台获取资源，然后充分利用资源。
就好似我之前两期里提到的那样找了不少外界资源来帮助自己，最终一步一步走到今天。
在我成功转成技术性的求职者之后，我的第一份工作也随之而来。
我的第一份工作是在一家传统的物流公司，大致的内容一共分一下这几部分：
第一部分sql：我们是全美财富500强的物流公司，我的工作内容是利用sql去分析整个公司物流运营网络，提出物流优化计划并给出建议。
除此之外我们还利用sql里的ssis进行数据的etl传输， ssrs建立企业级的可视化财务报表。
第二部分是python：我们会利用python进行机器学习和线性优化的建模，利用python建立api链接自动化的从其他企业的数据库下载数据。
第三部分则是tableau：利用tableau建立企业级的可视化专业报表。
题外话：以上提到的三个工具要找数据类的岗位的话要会是敲门砖。
在这家公司我积累了大量的技术技能并显著提高了编程技能。两年的时间让我变成了sql和python的专家。
但是在这两年间我也逐步意识到自己在职业发展遇到了瓶颈。
通过和同事和更高一级的老板交流， 我逐渐意识到技术类型的工种并不能帮助你在公司里脱颖而出。
因为数据分析师很多的工作都是幕后完成，而负责汇报或者present的老板反而能获得所有的credit。
所以我想转换一个位置，到一个能加能被认可并认识的职位上去，所以选择往公司金融这方便去发展。
另一个原因是公司体量毕竟有限，很多先进的管理经验和商业在一个传统的物流公司接触不到。
所以在再三权衡下，我跳槽到了另外一家规模更大的公司home depot去发展，也就是我现在的工作Homedepot金融部leader一职。
从我的经验出发对于海外的留学生，我建议职业规划分两个阶段 ：
第一阶段就是全力以赴在美国找到工作。
这个时候比较偏重技术技能例如sql ptyhon等。因大部分的学生都没有工作经验，所以跟同龄人或者美国竞争只能依靠技术能力战胜别人。
第二阶段，当积累了一段工作经验后可以慢慢往管理岗发展。
因为技术岗往往会有瓶颈，一般到经理级别就会停止。所以第二阶段希望大家往管理岗去发展。
最后想要跟同学们提得就是选择没有对错，如果你想留在美国那就拼尽全力留下来，如果你想回国发展那就早做准备早适应国内环境。
