R同学2023年5月进入北美实地实习项目，就读于南加州大学，目标拿到北美实地实习机会，提升求职竞争力。
 
学生对商业分析和数据分析工作的兴趣，但其本身对商业分析师和数据分析师的工作理解有 一定偏差。BA 和 DA 其实是一个非常好的工作起点，尤其未来想进入投行工作的学生。国际留学生是进可攻退可守的职业选择，转向其他领域和方向很容易，继续深入发展也有前景。
 
对学生的未来职业选择，团队不建议马上做出决定。先以适应美国的校园生活为主，在开始对 BA 和 DA 的职位进行系统的学习和培训后再做决定。BA 和 DA 不仅仅可以应聘金融业的工作，互联网公司，media，health care，通讯等等领域都是可以发展的。
 
团队帮助学生把眼界打开，为将来做更长远的打算。目前阶段是要努力缩短与理想职位的差距，投递明年的暑期实习工作。
 
团队评估后需主要从三个方面抓，第一 business knowledge，第二 technical knowledge，第三英语能力。
1）Business Knowledge： 在校学习的统计和数学经济，利用上课和课后时间，努力学习系统知识，相关 industry 的产品知识。完成 BA/DA 课培训，系统学习，弥补空缺。和导师一起做相关项目，熟悉 BA 和 DA 的工作职能。
2）Technical knowledge：熟悉数据挖掘，SQL 和一些基础编程语言。不要求达到 developer 的程度，但是技不压身。
3）英语能力：尤其锻炼口语表达和科技方向的写作能力。因为 BA 需要很强的交流能力，需要主持会议，和多组多方协调。
4）利用未来的本科学习，开始一份在美国的实习工作，为将来找全职工作做准备。
 
经过前期的准备和指导，同学在今年暑假成功进入美国本地企业开始人生第一段实习机会，也期待同学能在这段实习中学习成长，在毕业之际拥有比同龄人更强的就业竞争力。

导师介绍

  • 总计12+年投行工作经验，曾在8家国际知名投资类银行的商业业务系统和信息技术部门担任高级商业分析师、产品经理和项目经理等职务。在投资银行、商业银行、零售银行、大客户大金额银行业务，财务报告和信用风险系统、SFDC Lighting 平台方面拥有丰富的主题专业知识。
