Job Description
The Information Technology Co-Op will obtain practical business knowledge while applying what is learned in the classroom. During this time, the Intern Student will support the IT team in various areas. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications. Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Debug and troubleshoot software issues. Contribute to the development of technical documentation. Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications. Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning. Work on assigned tasks and projects under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist in the integration of software components and third-party services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Provide support for software applications and resolve user issues. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Informational Technology, or Information Systems. Prior experience as an application development intern desired but not required. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Application and software development classroom knowledge. Ability to learn new technology quickly. Advanced use of MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook; other productivity tools. Must possess excellent problem solving, organizational and verbal & written communication skills with the ability to explain technical. Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
