Continuous Improvement Specialist

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Perform data analysis and provide insights by collecting, cleansing and validating data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Identify patterns, trends and anomalies in collected data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for business growth and process improvement
• Perform end-to-end process evaluation by mapping and analyzing processes across departments and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and optimization
• Create alert reporting to proactively identify potential concerns or issues to be reviewed/actioned by operational teams
• Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize KPIs, performance metrics and operational trends
• Create clear and concise reports, dashboards and visualizations to generate compelling narratives around data insights and present findings to leadership and operational team
• Work with cross functional teams to understand and translate future needs and develop proposed solutions that will improve and enhance processes

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of experience in transportation, logistics or process improvement

It’d be great if you also have:

• Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Proficient understanding of lean methodologies
• Large scale project and implementation experience
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QlikView
• Competent data analysis and manipulation knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
