Job Summary
B2W is looking for an intern level Software Engineering position to join our B2W Operations team. This role would be expected to help this team improve the quality of the products and contribute to new and upcoming features. Additionally, this role would be expected to work with and be embedded on one of our B2W Operations teams to collaborate, communicate, and help drive the delivery of these changes. The team would provide mentoring and training to this role to provide and improve any skills needed to perform the duties of this role.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Required
- Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field
- Entry level knowledge and understanding of programming concepts
- Entry level experience in an object oriented programming language, preferably C#
- Entry level experience in web based development using Javascript
Preferred
- Entry level experience with relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Entry level experience with an ORM tool such as Entity Framework
- Entry level experience Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular
- Knowledge of source control, such as Git
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
Interpersonal Skills
- Good communication skills
- Open and willing to communicate with team members in all forms (in person, email, chat, etc…)
- Willingness to learn/be trained as part of the job
- Time management and prioritization skills with any tasks assigned
- Willing to collaborate and work as part of a team
